Conditions for entry to our mine
English-speaking visitors cannot be assigned to the excursion for Czech clients due to security reasons. You can book an excursion for a maximum of 24 people at montanika@seznam.cz for the price of 12,000 CZK (480 EU) with an English guide (Pavel Škácha). Please also send a phone contact in the email and we will get back to you.
The maximum group size is 24 people. The tour lasts just under 3 hours.
Rules and guidelines for the underground tour
- Entry to the mine is strictly prohibited with pets or under the influence of intoxicating or psychotropic substances.
- Age requirement: The minimum age for entry is 6 years.
- Group size: tours are conducted with 16 to 24 people per group (minimum group size is 16 adults).
- Tour duration: the basic tour lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour starts.
- Prohibited actions: throwing objects into lower sections of the mine is strictly prohibited.
- Safety gear: entry and movement in the mine require a safety helmet and light (provided), warm outdoor clothing with long sleeves and pants, and sturdy footwear.
- Health considerations: the tour is not recommended for claustrophobic individuals with mobility issues. The route is approximately 4 km long with relatively challenging terrain.
- Weight limit: for safety reasons on walkways, entry is not recommended for individuals weighing more than 110 kg.
- Responsibility: the tour organizer is required to inform all group members of these restrictions and the nature of the tour route.
- Cancellation: reservations can be canceled up to 48 hours before the tour.
